Planning Ahead / Options for 2012-2013 Sessions
 
1 Use the year to collaboratively plan, implement and evaluate two arts integrated (character development) instructional units.
 
2  Learn and implement a complete Professional Learning Community, including collaborative development of instruction (Lesson Study), collaborative analysis of student work, Action Research, and Book Study
 
3  Continue with one new arts-based strategy and one step toward learning how to develop arts-based strategies each session
 
4 Go deeper with 'Storytelling' into each subject area - ELA, Math, Science & Social Studies
 
5 Build differentiation into early steps of implementing the Common Core Standards
