'Prompts' take 20 minutes or less.  They build on one another and build capacity to develop and implement strategies, lessons, or instructional units which exemplify arts integration and character development.  They are based on a desire to use the power of the arts to teach other subjects, although they do involve the teaching of arts standards as ends in themselves.  The same is true for character development, used as a tool for boosting achievement in all subjects, but also as and end in itself.

'Prompts' can take longer than 20 minutes, but that is an individual or team decision based on interest or need.

Additionally, prompts usually introduce unusually useful resources, which are worth exploring in depth depending on time and interest.
